Family Support Worker

UP Kids is seeking a part-time Family Support Worker.  The Family Support Worker (FSW) is responsible for conducting family assessments,  assisting families in developing service plans and goals, supporting and monitoring goal progress, and providing an array of in-home services and education to support family functioning, safety, and growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field required
• Experience working with families in crisis or at-risk populations
• Knowledge of child development and family dynamics
• Familiarity with community resources and agencies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check

Position Details:

• Location: Primarily Remote. Gogebic County.

• Part-time position, 25-35 hours per week, Pay rate $19.59/hr, generous paid time off, mileage reimbursement, employee assistance program

• Flexible and varied work schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
